Best way to store lots of jewelry?

Lots of necklaces, both stud and hook style earrings, bracelets, and a way to store pendants that aren't on a necklace chain (I have more pendants than chains). Something that's easy to keep up please! I've never found a foolproof method. (What I have now looks pretty, but it's hard to keep putting stuff back in the exact right place..) A specific product would be nice, but general suggestions are good too. Thanks!
